ANXIETY, STRESS AND EMOTIONAL WELLBEING

Counselling for anxiety, stress and emotional wellbeing.

Anxiety has a way of making itself at home. It starts small, maybe a knot in your stomach before something difficult, a mind that won’t switch off at night. But it can grow until it’s affecting everything, your work, your relationships, your ability to just get through the day.

Stress does the same. It builds gradually until something that should feel manageable starts to feel impossible. And conditions like depression, burnout, OCD, and PMDD can make even the most ordinary things feel completely out of reach.

Whatever you’re experiencing, you don’t have to just get on with it. There is another way through.

Specialist Anxiety Counselling in Nairn and Online

I’m here to listen, not to fix.

There is a difference between being told what to do about your emotional wellbeing and being genuinely heard. Person-centred counselling isn’t about handing you a toolkit or a breathing exercise and sending you on your way. It’s about sitting with you in it, understanding what’s driving it, and finding your own way through it together.

Anxiety, stress and low mood can feel very isolating. It can seem like everyone else is managing just fine and you’re the only one white-knuckling it through the week. You are not. And talking about it with someone who is genuinely, non-judgementally curious about your experience can make a real difference.

I also work with clients experiencing suicidal thoughts and self-harm. These are areas I take seriously and approach with care. If you’re struggling in this way, please know you are welcome here.

Sessions are 50 minutes, available in person at my counselling bothy near Nairn, online, or by telephone. I work with clients across Scotland and the UK. Fees are £40 to £55 on a sliding scale.

I trained at the University of the Highlands and Islands and am a registered member of both BACP and COSCA.

Anxiety counselling wherever you are in the UK.

Online and telephone counselling for anxiety means you can access support without having to leave the house on a day when that feels impossible. For many people managing anxiety or depression, that flexibility is not just convenient, it’s essential.

I work with clients online across the whole of the UK. Sessions are available Monday to Friday, 10am to 8.30pm.
